Alembic Electric Guitars
Alembic is a U.S. manufacturer of guitars and basses. The company was started in the 1970's by Ron and Susan Wickersham. Originally, the company was a consulting firm that worked closely with the Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, etc. The very first Alembic bass, number 72-01, was made for Jack Casady, then of the Jefferson Airplane.
