In 1958, Swedish-based Hagström started manufacturing electric guitars. Frank Zappa played a 1967 Viking. Some other notable guitarists that play Hagstroms are Dweezil Zappa, Pat Smear, of the Germs, Foo Fighters and Nirvana, Warren Fitzgerald, guitarist for the Vandals and Gwen Stefani, and Curtis Chambers, tour guitarist for P Diddy and LL Cool J.
