Harmony guitars bring back memories, because the very first band featured the guitarist playing a Harmony. That was at age 11. I remember he bought the guitar and amp at Sears and turned up all the way, you could barely here it over my drums lol.
The Harmony company started in 1892 by Wilhelm Schultz. In 1916, it was bought by Sears, Roebuck and Co. In 1928 Harmony introduced the first of many Roy Smeck models, which is a classic vintage guitar these days. Harmony went on to become the largest producer of guitars in the U.S.
