It Might Get Loud is a new documentary showing in theaters now, that features three well known guitarists from three different generations with focus on their guitars, instruments that have brought them to where they are now. Featuring Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page, U2's the Edge and Jack White, from the White Stripes, this is a film that looks amazing - especially for vintage guitar enthusiast, but for general fans alike. The three musicians get together to talk, jam, and my favorite aspect - to share the instruments: electric and acoustic guitars, effect pedals (or effect rigs for the Edge) and their choice of amps. Basically the tools they've been using for years to get the sounds they want. The documentary is directed by Davis Gugenhiem, the Oscar-winning director of "An Inconvenient Truth."
